Behold…the Spider-Man Theme Song first released on September 9, 1967:
The 67 Spider-Man cartoon is an “amazing” and “spectacular” monument to mediocrity.
Gloriously inferior, the obvious fruit of refusing to work hard, doing the bare minimum (even less than that sometimes!) with a desire to craft disposable work.
You can succeed if you cut corners.
Still…56 years later: the Superman Theme Song (by John Williams!) and this remarkable Spider-Man Theme Song (composed by Paul Francis Webster & Bob Harris) remain as the most iconic Super-Themes for comic book characters brought to (real) life.
As for classic covers I recommend the one the Ramones released in 1995. 1-2-3-4!!
