There’s been so many notable transporter incidents and issues up to the recent Picard: Season 3 I’ll never know how anybody feels comfortable using em.
But more than the Tuvix panel there’s lots of fantastic online offerings: Trek Talks 3 is a marathon of Star Trek panels on YouTube (TrekMovie’s YouTube channel) to benefit the Hollywood Food Coalition. That’s dope!

I recommend Laurie Ulster’s panel Strange New Worlds/Lower Decks crossover with Jonathan Frakes, Tawny Newsome, Bill Wolkoff, and Kathryn Lyn. Oh fun!
Frakes’ directing work has literally lived up the Next Gen name…nobody in 1987 could imagine the trombone playing lothario would become one of the most important Star Trek directors.
Though, I resoundly reject any Pre-Kirk Star Trek so I dunno about the recent shows. If I want Strange New Worlds it hasta move the story forward. Next Gen, to Deep Space Nine, to Voyager to Picard…keep moving the story forward. Why or how something started is irrelevant. Where are we today?
