Yo…finally got around to watching U2’s Kimmel appearance…the new song is strong: The Little Things That Give You Away (clearly Bono is a pre-twitter writer).
It’s an old man song though…nobody could write this in their 20s. But I guess we’re all old men now.
Still may we all be as restless and hungry as U2. This year’s NBA Finals was deeply emotive (indeed the tv ratings haven’t been this high since Jordan was in the Finals…let that sink in) but I came away from that experience realizing there is always something left to prove.
Funny thing is we already know this from watching Rocky movies. Lace em up and get back in the ring, son…
