This is out of character for me, posting a Hillsong. So much so my sister asked, as I was writing this…what’s wrong with you? Ha.
Look. The freshest ingredients are blended into this video…the mesmerizing tide like GIF saturated in red and that jade like colour, the persistent Enoesque song (9 minutes no less!) and finally the sleek and clean graphic design of the lyrics. That box for the lyrics sells me hard like a salesman from Glengarry Glen Ross.
So here we are. Here I am.
Those ingredients once successfully blended transfixed me. Even now, my writing continues to be interrupted as I steal glances at the video. Maybe it’s like love…we don’t have control who are hearts long for…even after we make these ridiculous criteria. Love just sort of happens. And while this isn’t love, it’s just a music video, after all, it’s deep like.
