Oddly, this feature is a remake of the 2019 documentary of the same name and same director?! The feature is directed by Alex Parkinson and shot using a script by Mitchell LaFortune and Alex Parkinson and David Brooks.
And Parkinson co-directed with Richard da Costa the documentary which yeah: also tells the story of a commercial diver who was stranded on the seabed with five minutes of oxygen but no chance of rescue for more than 30 minutes.
Never heard of the documentary but that sounds far more compelling than this feature remake. How often does that happen? A feature film remake of a documentary?
