Back in 2011 HBO aired a Ricky Gervais produced comedy special: 49 minutes of Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais and Louis C.K. analyzing comedy and breaking down stand up. If you’ve seen Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee it’s sorta like that only stationary. (You know…Comedians in Cars aired in 2012 and I can’t help but wonder if Talking Funny sparked or even influenced Seinfeld’s new show).

Optimus Prime passed away on August 8, 1986. Before he passed on the Matrix of Leadership (to all of us…) he imparted this definitive motto: One Will Stand, One Will Fall. One of the best business lessons I’ve ever learned. (Huge respect to Megatron’s defiant response: “Why throw away your life so recklessly?” I understood right there’d always be foolish resistance to anything I want to accomplish…)

Hypnotic drums lure me outta my chair and when that futuristically retro sound arrives I’m off to the dancing races. So much so that I had to make up a word like futuristically and use it shamelessly. I encourage you to do the same, make up words to describe this tune:
