Norman Jewison was a promiment Canadian filmmaker when Canada could only crank out crap: it stresses so much that you gotta Be Good. His legacy is excellence and declearing war on (CanCon) mediocrity.
The Hurricane alone…like yo.
“Norman Frederick Jewison was born on July 21, 1926, in Toronto, where his parents ran a general store/post office. He developed an early interest in the arts, studying piano and music theory at the Royal Conservatory, and staged and appeared in shows and musical comedies in high school.”
That was a run, man. Rest Now.
Sammy Verdict: Yes Moonstruck is a classic. I ah…can’t stand Fiddler on the Roof since it’s a musical. Still overall this is a solid body of work.
