Giveaway: Win Tix to Riot Fest Toronto!

Posted on August 12, 2014 By Sammy Younan 67 Comments on Giveaway: Win Tix to Riot Fest Toronto!

Please Note:
Our Riot Fest contest is now closed! Thank you to all who entered, you’re all No. 1 in our hearts. Congrats to winner Amber Bordun (Those jeers and rotten fruit hurtling your way is all out of love, I’m sure)…Y super gracias a Katherine McFarlane at Union Events East for providing the tickets. They’re still available at Toronto.RiotFest.org; Riot Fest Toronto goes down next weekend (Sept. 6-7), and is going to be hotter and wilder than any university frosh week!

Yeah, the summer may be winding down, but there’s no need to cry about it. There’s still a lot of great live music to be had, particularly in the form of Riot Fest Toronto on September 6th and 7th at Downsview Park.

Psst, there’s no crying at Riot Fest BTW, so put on your big boy (or girl) pants and enter our contest for a pair of general admission passes. All you need to do is submit a comment with the band you’re most looking forward to seeing.

dailyriot

While it’s already been a banner year for festivals around town, Riot Fest’s lineup has the potential to blow them all out of Lake Ontario – 50+ artists will punk it up across multiple stages, including Social Distortion, The Flaming Lips, The National, Rise Against, Metric, Billy Talent, City and Colour and The Cure.

If this isn’t a kick-ass way to spend the weekend after Labour Day while giving summer the middle finger, I’m not sure what is.

Tickets are also available here, although you had better hurry before the price goes up one last time!

I’d LOVE to see Billy Talent and Rise Against live! I’ve been a Billy Talent fan for a long time and need to go to one of their shows, especially after their latest album release which is absolutely amazing. I’m still listening to it on repeat even though it’s already been out for 2 years! I’ve just recently become a Rise Against fan but I really like what they stand for in their music. Great role models and people in general!
