Like most people Kanye West’s Touch The Sky introduced me to Lupe Fiasco. His debut album came with Kick, Push a smooth rap song about skateboarders. Alright Lupe you have my attention; once he had that I was rewarded with The Cool. An outstanding rap album: complex, dark and soaked in creativity.
Craig White…the dynamic host of Verbal Paintbrush is hosting a booth at Artfest this long weekend in the Distillery. Right beside the Love lock sign (which is kinda ironic since he worked on the Lovelocks logo). Go forth and check out the art…his and all there is so many fantastic booths. Oh and beside Craig’s booth…there is a patio and beside that is an ice cream store selling Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Oh Yes…

Amy Winehouse’s passing left soul music all that much poorer. Beyond frustrating when the good ones go too soon.
As such I’m happy Artists like Andra Day are helping to fill that vacuum. Classic song…soulful, destined to adopted as an empowering anthem: its fate is sealed. Before it gets burdened with the emotional baggage of a sloppy cause it’s still pristine and ready for enjoyment.

My friend and I hoped into my laser blue Dart and road tripped to…Cambridge, Ontario. Ours was a cultural mission, our prime directive to enjoy a day trip into the fabulous world of Gary Taxali and later in Stratford a play.
I know…a gallery exhibition and a Stratford play all in one arty day…classy! (Not to worry I kept the class at bay with my Spider-Man seatbelt belt).
Stepping into the Idea Exchange | Design at Riverside gallery is like a fantastical Disney meets Warhol trip into Gary Taxali’s head. Wow. So cool.
