This Facebook biography was fascinating!
One of the consistent themes in Levy’s Facebook bio is related to most of the online hot mess congressional hearings; plethora of digital documentaries etc.: Zuckerberg (seems to) believe in the fundamental goodness of people (including advertisers).
It sets up a tense dynamic because he has metrics that suggest otherwise.
While it’s easy to throw Facebook under the bus, the real problem…is us.
Remember: WE SUCK. It’s hard to keep hoping when people continue to disappoint you.
So far: we’ve been living with
YouTube for 15 years.
Facebook is 17 years old.
Google is 23 years old.
Netflix is 24 years old.
How Do You Like Them Digital Apples?
While Netflix hasn’t fully defined what to them is a hit; Facebook defines success solely as growth: adding as many people to the site as possible.
