He studies the button board intently like he’s in the final round of a game show and a Ford Focus is on the line. Finally he asks: “L. L is for Lobby?”
He went with Ask The Audience before locking in his final answer.
Barely suppressing a Sue Grafton sarcasm I nod: “Yes.”
Satisfied he pushes the L button.
Having just watched that ordeal I didn’t have the heart to tell him we’re going up.
