2014 continues to heat up like Jiffy Pop with music related documentaries!
The Year of Pharrell is a 30 minute documentary premiering on February 26 at 7PM EST on Revolt TV. Needless to say, pants will be coming off and my phone will be off the hook. Way too many sleeps until this airs, I’m dancing like a kid on a family road trip who has to go badly.
For the 5 people who don’t know Pharrell Williams is the stylish baby faced prominent producer behind Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines.” It’s strange but 2013 is considered a “comeback” of sorts for Pharrell.
Umm, he never really left. A lot of his work doesn’t make the spotlight yet much of it is fascinating. To see what I mean read Pharrell: Places and Spaces I’ve Been, a dynamic retrospective book covering Pharrell’s work in furniture, clothing and more. The book is solid necessary inspiration for Multidisciplinary Artists.
In February in Toronto you could say I’m “Happy” we’re getting “This Is Not A Toy” exhibition at the Design Exchange. More on that to come!
