I’ll give you a freebie, you missed one hell of a show!
Young Doctors In Love are loaded with poppy rock hits and rocky pop hits and they kept them coming late in to the night. As per usual, Young Doctors put on a fierce performance with a few tricks up their sleeves for their album release. Their new album is below, press play and read on! Maybe then you’ll have an inkling of what you missed at Young Doctors album release show Friday May 30.

All they Hey Hey Hey’s and the Bop Bop’s
Don’t forget the Oh Oh Oh’s, and the clapping and mandatory toe tapping. Young Doctors spoiled the audience with their rocky pop hits. I seriously question the judgment of anyone who was able to remain still and not sing along to the above-mentioned Hey’s, Oh’s, and Bop’s.
A magnificent horn section and other musical guests
Shaun Brodie, Selçuk Suna, Tom Richards, and Nathan Dell Vandenberg made up the horn section that shared the stage with Young Doctors alongside members of Blimp Rock and Fitness. The stage was packed with talent and damn it, it showed. The power behind the already energetic hit 1035 was incredible; I can’t be the only one who felt it.
Original lead vocalist made a cameo appearance
Original lead singer Lesley D’Souza shared vocals with Katie and Amanda, omitting the need for the usual loop pedal on 1035. Lesley gave the audience a taste of how the band has evolved in the years they’ve been working together. Times they are a changin.
Perfectly in sync shoulder dancing
Watching Katie and Amanda shoulder dance is mesmerizing. Not only do they shimmy their shoulders in sync, they also pivot, and shake in sync. They make it look easy. In fact, the entire band makes what they do look easy, a talented group of musicians who are natural performers.
A lot of booty shaking
The shimmying and shaking happened on and off the stage. By the end of Young Doctors’ set dancing had spread to nearly every member of the audience, very contagious this dancing. The dancing ranged from great, to down right terrible but we were all having way too much fun to care.
